Attennnnshun! RedCon1 'Raise the B.A.R.' in their crispy, crunchy Cereal Bars!

Huh...fair to say that the military-minded RedCon-1 are far better known for their supplements than anything else at this point but, between the unique (from ingredients to flavours!) MRE Bars we've had for a while, and the crunchy new cereal B.A.R. bars we've been lucky enough to get our hands on here (at last!!), perhaps the 'SitRep' needs to be revised? Probably figures...I mean, soldiers need fun, tasty snacks same as the rest of us, right?! Probably MORE, in fact! :D

The one thing that is absolutely agreed upon when it comes to RedCon1? They're not afraid to shake things up and try new things...part of the reason they've grown so fast as a brand! This was the case with the meal-replacement style MRE bars (German Choc Cake flavour? SALMON protein?!?) and you better believe is the case with the B.A.R. 'Breakfast at the Ready' bars (these guys LOVE an acronym!) here!

How so 'Breakfast at the Ready'? Easy!! Take your fave sugary childhood cereals and blitz and bind them into a convenient on-the-go bar - minus a load of sugar, plus a load of protein and, brownie points, gluten free, too - and...you're about there!!

Yep, we have all the classics here, folks...'Rainbow Breakfast' aka Lucky Charms (complete with marshmallows!), 'Fruity Cereal' aka Froot Loops (citrus-y and unmistakable!) and, last but not least (especially as this is easily our fave of the trio!!), 'Crunchy Cinnamon Bits' aka...well...you can probably guess! It's snickerdoodle-y and sensational!

All 3 timeless flavours are impressively bold and delivered infusing a sweet, Rice Krispie-style vanilla base complete with crunchy real cereal pieces, generous, colourful inclusions and all set atop a yogurty white choc base. Ooh...and DRIZZLED icing for good measure!

Packing 20g (whey) protein a bar, just 5g sugar and under all under 200kcals - not to mention about as fun and flavourful as it gets (+ texture for daaaays!) - elevenses or otherwise, you're never going to look at a Nature Valley bar the same way again!!
