...has it really been 5 years?! It's The Protein Pick and Mix's Birthday...celebrate with us!

5 years?!! FIVE years?! Wow. You know what they say about 'time flying' when you're having fun...⁣

The last 5 years of Protein Pick and Mix (well... 5 1/2, but who's counting!) have been a blur of late nights & pink stripes and...I wouldn't trade it for anything (that job at Ben & Jerry's hasn't come through yet!)⁣

See, Quest Nutrition has alot to answer for! Their Choc Chip Cookie Dough bar (a little old school now given the thriving bar market these days but will always be THE low carb, guiltfree OG bar for me!) was the very first to catch my attention (and satisfy my sweet-tooth!) as an avid snack-loving gym-goer.⁣

At the time? In Quest's early days in 2013? These bars were a NIGHTMARE to get in the UK and you had to buy by the (mad expensive!) box. "What if you could buy these a single bar at a time? Even better, buy (or, rather, 'pick') across allll the flavours...variety is the spice of life, after-all!"

Inexplicably, nowhere seemed to cater to my indecisive tastes (and certainly nowhere having the appropriate amount of fun with this new breed of genuinely tasty 'functional foods') and, BOOM, The Protein Pick and Mix was born! Best worst mistake ever! :D

Fast-forward 5/6 years. Now? Everyone's doing the 'Pick&Mix' thing and it's awesome to see protein-packed foods and snacks EVERYWHERE (I mean...a Grenade Carb Killa exclusive to M&S this past Christmas?! It doesn't get much more 'establishment' than that, beloved traditional institution that it is!) and protein bars from CADBURY'S?! What a time to be alive!

So, here I am...half a decade, 100,000 orders, 600,000 bars, 100,000 cookies, 40,000 tubs of nut butter, 12,500 tubs of protein, a Pink-stripy STORE (!!) - and 14246346 box cuts and energy drinks! - later, saying a HUGE thankyou! I...we (my long-suffering team!)...wouldn't still be here without YOU!⁣
